You have to be super serious and no nonsense for the first 3 weeks... then show up wearing a giant ladybug hat with googly eyes and pretend like nothing is amiss.

Im going crazy. The neighbors have 3 dogs...a really obese weimereiner who's friendly and then an evil mixed breed hound thing and an eviler German Shepard.

Im sure they're very very friendly dogs on their own territory because more people go in and out of that house than the local gas station (loldrughouse) but they keep escaping the backyard and go into pack mode.

we have a fence in our backyard to protect the toddlers and chihuahua because both are HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE and will get eaten by a squirrel if not careful.

fff that German Shepard the other day hopped its fence and our fence to try and eat our chihuahua...that is not the first time its escaped and charged at us (we've been chased to the front door) but I've never seen it hop our fence. Im ridiculously paranoid now..I keep thinking I hear the agonizing cry of the chihuahua but it turns out our dog is barking in the house or its just phantom noises.

my dad ran over next door and threatened to shoot their pets if they come into our yard again..they said that they were cool with that...and the dogs keep escaping! they're out again!

In Germany the pet keeper is responsible for the pet.You could enforce them to ensure that the dog cannot leave their backyard (example building a higher fence or put them on a line)in front of a court. If they don't follow the judgement the pets will be taken away.
I'm sure the same applies to America.

Can't blame a pet's behaviour on the pet, it's the *** owner. Shoot the owners, take the dogs.

Doubt it being America, here a dog barks wrong and it gets "Destroyed" so a chihuahua would be yea..
