I just got back from my wisdom teeth extraction. Went without a hitch. I opted for local anesthesia, and I was totally fine. My doctor said I did very well, took my meds and now I'm resting. I cannot swallow if it's worth my life. No pain yet, but I'm taking every precaution I can do. Wish me luck!
It's a weird taste though, freshly brewed mouth tea + that salty taste of blood.

I have to say, my doctor thought I was crazy about being awake, so he's like just close your eyes, and I was a little scared, but trust me, it looks much worse than it was and before I knew it I was finished. I was completely out. In retrospect, I'm not sure I like the idea of that now. After I went off to college I heard through the grapevine that my dentist and oral surgeon was into some seedy stuff. :/
