That's a hands down win.
3 way potentially 4way xfire on a socket 2011.

The only way to damage your computer from turning it on and off is if you keep doing it back and forth over and over. I'm not saying that's what you should do, I'm just saying what I've noticed. only time it makes any difference to leave your PC on 24/7 is if it's being used as a server or some other major component of a network.
or if you'rte bazaaring in FFXI :D otherwise just put it into hibernation or turn it off if you don't want to pay for electricity that you aren't actually using Leviathan.Catnipthief said: » and now i've seen it all.... friend on facebook seriously just linked a porno movie and is gloating about watching it... honestly don't really see CPU upgrades being worth it for a while yet. generational leaps in CPU power have been pretty small and intel really doesn't have enough competition to bother with anything extravagant. sad ): Valefor.Prothescar said: » I keep wanting to upgrade my CPU even though I don't have to :| 2500k -> 3930X would be such an inefficient expenditure. also have increasing temptation to grab a titan or two, but gl with that within the next half a year, waiting lists are already supposedly long honestly don't really see CPU upgrades being worth it for a while yet. generational leaps in CPU power have been pretty small and intel really doesn't have enough competition to bother with anything extravagant. sad ): In SLI.... Wait for the Geforce line of GK110, as these are Nvidia Telsa C2075 cards that didn't meet the specification requirements, with heat & power draw. So unless you're building a dedicated folding system, a CUDA or OpenCL programmer that needs that fully unlocked double precision floating point performance, who happens to also play video games, don't waste your money. IDK according to Linus' review...the Titan is pretty monster on games...

Wait for the Geforce versions, without the GPGPU optimazations, and probably lower video memory for about the same performance. Well yeah I wouldn't want them for raw performance as much as epeen, as that's all the Titan's really for. It's still phenomenal performance for a single GPU solution, but for less than half the price SLI 660ti matches or exceeds it. Right now I already have more than enough graphical power in terms of cost:performance with dual 670s, in the realm of already being several hundred dollars above the safe mark for efficient money expenditure, but dual 670s aren't nearly as cool ): if I wanted more performance for little extra cost I'd probably try to get my hands on an ARES Ramuh.Urial said: » IDK according to Linus' review...the Titan is pretty monster on games...
