It was pretty HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE at times, but ok for a one time watch. Edit: What bothered me the most i guess was the Alien connection they tried to make Phoenix.Josiahfk said: » Odin.Headstrong said: » I've heard someone say Prometheus was better than the original Alien movies :/ I wanted to choke them.. I went to see it at the cinema and hated it,because I went in thinking "Yeah,a new aliens movie!" and thought it was crap. Fast forward a few months and I watched a bluray rip of it and its decent as a non-aliens sci fi film Sylph.Spency said: » /throws a wrench at Quiz /dies The inferior accent is trying to eliminate my superior one So they already are leaking news about assassin's creed IV...
I still haven't beat the last one ~.~ think I'm like 30% done. Siren.Kalilla said: » So they already are leaking news about assassin's creed IV... I still haven't beat the last one ~.~ think I'm like 30% done. If you haven't beat it yet it's probably because you haven't really played it that much... It's been out for a bit already... It hink anyone going into a new movie that's even somewhat related to something else they loved it's harder to really enjoy the new version... you go in with an expectation of how you think it should be and how you want it to be and rarely does it live up to what can be rolling around in our heads... that's why people new to it, I think, enjoy it a lot more...
Why is the new AC a *** pirate, that's HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE. There are so many assassins in other countries they could use instead.

They have to keep the same theme and all that so they can reuse most of the stuff to pump them out year by year Siren.Flavin said: » It hink anyone going into a new movie that's even somewhat related to something else they loved it's harder to really enjoy the new version... you go in with an expectation of how you think it should be and how you want it to be and rarely does it live up to what can be rolling around in our heads... that's why people new to it, I think, enjoy it a lot more... volkom said: » i'm 62 crysta short from resubscribing :| Congrats! ACIII did not have a pirate theme so idk where you're coming from with that.. There are so many assassins in other countries they could use instead. Thats exactly it,its all business choices that degrade original ***and turn it into nothing but product. Not just AC here. Oh and look at the cover art. Character looks 99% the same. Guy on the ground (likely main enemy faction) is just a different colour of the AC3 guys and I'm sure the list will go on Odin.Headstrong said: » Siren.Flavin said: » It hink anyone going into a new movie that's even somewhat related to something else they loved it's harder to really enjoy the new version... you go in with an expectation of how you think it should be and how you want it to be and rarely does it live up to what can be rolling around in our heads... that's why people new to it, I think, enjoy it a lot more... The thing that bothered me the most was how open ended it was... Didn't bother me at all since I knew there would be a sequel to it

One would argue that they games they keep putting out aren't ***because their consumer base keeps growing and millions still continue to enjoy and buy the games... Opinions are opinions in the end... but they're going to side with the majority... they're making games for the larger group that will continue to purchase... Bismarck.Dracondria said: » Didn't bother me at all since I knew there would be a sequel to it They're too afraid to take risks when it comes to making new IPs so all we get is regurgitated ***
Bismarck.Dracondria said: » They're too afraid to take risks when it comes to making new IPs so all we get is regurgitated *** Which is why I give up on most of it. As for Prometheus, I was told so many times beforehand that it wasn't really an Aliens prequel, but within the same universe that I was able to differentiate the two. I liked it. The later Alien movies, especially vs. Predator, were meeeeeh.
Also there's a serious lack of cool weapons in new games. I'm talking about weapons like in Resistance and Halo. All the new games with ranged weapons have like.. bows and normal guns >.> Where are all the cool weapons

I think it was like an alternate reality and not set in the same one as the Alien movies Bismarck.Dracondria said: » Also there's a serious lack of cool weapons in new games. Black Ops 2 made it mainstream, battlefield 3 ripped it off as they always do what call of duty does, crysis did it because.....well its EA as well lol Siren.Flavin said: » Odin.Headstrong said: » Siren.Flavin said: » It hink anyone going into a new movie that's even somewhat related to something else they loved it's harder to really enjoy the new version... you go in with an expectation of how you think it should be and how you want it to be and rarely does it live up to what can be rolling around in our heads... that's why people new to it, I think, enjoy it a lot more... Smaller lesser known companies take risks, some do well and become known while most fall.
Demon's Souls for instance was a risk from their previous titles, Dark Souls not so much because they knew that there would be people who would buy it on xbox. Now they want to grow, so they are making Dark Souls II more accessible and approachable to new players. This has already made fans of the series lose trust in From Software, even though it's a year from release still. I get where quiz is coming from, money ruins what games could have been, and at the same time it funds the games development and future games to come. I'd love for companies to focus on making good games, but they are companies and need to fight to survive and that might end up pushing away some of the fans that were loyal to you in hopes that you earn 2-3 people for every person you lost. |
