Kali! THanks for yout thoughts on Dead Space. =) Never heard of games (shocking, I'm not into games no mo) until you started talking about it then I saw a comercial for it on Youtube.

Friend of mine works at game stop. He said half the people that buy them either return them or just *** constantly at how utterly much *** the set up is and constant updating. Not to mention specs wise it's a PoS.
Nintendo really tried to cut corners this time and say it was "Innovative game play" to save face but it's a ***box.

Well the HD space you can just supplement with an external, but the rest of that sounds bad :(

I'll probably buy one if that fire emblem / Shin megami tensai crossover comes out... otherwhise I'll hold off... I never really like to get new consoles right when they come out anyways... that and there's really no games out that I would even play that I don't already have for another system...

When I say specs I mean GPU and CPu specs. In short the thing is only on par with an xbox 360 as far as hardware goes and it's 7 years newer.

I hear a lot of mixed things about the specs actually. Some say better than PS3, some say worse. Idk what the actual specs are, but in the Wii U thread, I believe somebody said the graphics were really good. /shrug

Nintendo has never been about putting out power and really hasn't been pandering to the hardcore gaming crowd... I don't know why you expected an overpowered machine coming from them...

Yeah, I liked them both.
Yzak is probably my favourite of the ZAFT characters after Le Creuset. The Duel is such a nice suit, too... (I really want a kit of it, but the HG is kinda iffy) I can see why he doesn't still have it in Destiny (I mean it's a very outdated piece of tech compared to the Second Stage series), but I don't like that he only had a ZAKU. It wasn't even a custom-built one; it was just a normal Slash ZAKU Phantom with a custom paintjob. And then when he does get an upgrade, it's just a GOUF Ignited, which is still inferior to most of the suits being used by the other characters.
Dearka got shafted hard, though... Demoted and generic grunt suits all around... but it's understandable given the circumstances. :x

I'd expect them to do something better than 7 year old technology, its really not that hard...

Word....TO ALL OF IT. I like Le Crusset a lot. He has charisma, and is willing to do anything for his horrible agenda.

Duel is hot, but yah can see why it got a back seat but still, Joule deserves a Gundam, he led the Joule team in direct defense of PLANTS against the nukes....he took out two OMNI Gundams too! Could have totally seen him getting Gaia. Or an Impulse. BAH!

I really only played Dark Souls and Dead Space 2 and 3, and was disappointed with Halo and RE6. I'm sure there are better games out there, I just don't have the time to explore them all. As it is I only spend 5 hours a week playing games. It took me almost 3 months to beat Dead Space 2, and I loved to play it. I don't enjoy playing them on my own anymore so I have to wait for both of us to have time off together, and then we both have to be in the mood to play a game, which more than likely won't be the case if we both have time off together unless we really like something.

We both were looking forward to Dead Space 3, still need to finish it ._. I really want a cute game to play like Ni No Kuni, but we'll need to get a PS3 for that and I'm not sure about it.

I just don't like the idea of spending money on a console that is about to get replaced in a year, then all the development is going to shift to the newer consoles.

I also need to convince him to stop being an Xbox fanboy and move to the dark side so we can stop paying for online access...

Awwww yeah just got Amazon Prime. Time to check what all I can watch for free....

Well, the only reason why I was disappointed was that the story was so damn short, and it was obvious most of the development effort went toward multiplayer, which is fine, except I suck at FPS games in the first place so I'm not going to bother going up against people who have been playing games like that forever.

Funny thing about Le Creuset is; as mad as he seemed, he was right. They stopped the war, everything went back to peace and ***and then Destiny happened and everyone started killing each other again, and given that there was a movie planned, we can only assume there'd be even more fighting after the end of the war in Destiny.

An Impulse, definitely. We know there were a few made given that the Minerva has one (and enough parts to build at least another one), and then three are used to test the systems used in the Destiny.
Gaia doesn't fit Yzak's style at all. Then again, I think the Gaia is a terrible suit anyway, so maybe I'm a little biased.

I played the first game then read all the books.
Can read the books and skip game 1 then just start with game 2.
It's a very well done universe if you take the time to read the literature...but you and I have discussed this on many different occasions lol

Gaia is more close range then Chaos or Abyss BUT then I thought, Impulse would good for him, Force Silhouette.

Aww, well, I would recommend Gundam SEED to you. Kind of an easy to get into series. Its stand alone, mirrors many things from series 20 years earlier. I really like the portrayal of Geneism (word for racism against genetically engineered?) and it's mirror of real world politics with other issues.

Yeah you get access to like free streaming for tv shows and movies.
Basically you get free 2 days hipping and a ghetto netflix account.
Can always look at the list of tv shows and movies priomie users have free access to.

I use amazon a lot so it's a good $80/yr investment. I'd spend that much in shipping each year.
