I have a decent amount of virtual console games on my wii.So many that the wii internal storage cant hold them all and half them are on the SD card.If I transfer my data across,can I go into wii mode on the wiiu and redownload them all? Even if I cant use the fancy new wiiu controller?
I'd prefer to use the one I have tbh

once it transfers I think it transfers your "account" so you should be able to download them (from what I read on it it says you can lol, it transfers your wii points, downloads, download history... etc...)

Yeah...lots of people around me have a cold or worse, thankfully I've avoided contact with said people so far :D

Now I'm getting a server busy error when trying to update.A quick google search shows posts dated from day of release all the way up to today,and every day in between about the same error.
Nintendo just have bent servers I guess.I shouldnt be surprised really though
