Just got the tantra neck yesterday while getting an auric dagger, the stats (incase anyone needs refresher) are "accuracy + 5, kick attacks +2". I usually use faith torque for tp, but now I'm questioning the decision. my h2h skill is 389 (no +2 hands yet), making my base dmg 45.79 (with the torque). Without it and with the tantra neck on I'm 45.02. So the base damage is the same. When I have the torque on I do however gain an additional 7 attack from the skill boost.
I know that once I get the +2 hands the faith torque is the way to go, but right now I'm not sure.
With +2 AF3 legs, Afflictors, Tantra Necklace and 5/5 kick attack merits... I'd defenantly stick with the kick attack set up. As for hands stick with the haste and h2h skill. Faith torque is something you can skip out on for the time being.
Is this acceptable or am I make a big mistake in using both tantra accessories? I don't have Faith Torque yet, although I'm working on it(0/2 atm.) Should I use Asagaya's Collar + an attack earring or this is acceptable until I get Faith Torque?
Thanks!
Note: I use MNK/WAR 90% of the time unless shadows are required - which is very rarely.
For your current set, yes, but +2 hands are rather easy, so wouldn't be for long.
This^ You and a friend can kill things for 2 Amphi pops via gold chest if you can't kill Melo Melo. Get a BLM/BRD and BLU/NIN, proc yellow on each and kill away :D Having Formless Strikes helps too when it goes into magic mode.
