If I have abyssite of discernment and I'm trying to find out blue weakness do I need to use a weaponskill thats listed on the wiki page? I.E. if I'm using a great axe would only steel cyclone and full break have possibility of proc'ing message or would say, something like raging rush do the same?

Any physical weapon skill should enable you to get a hint towards what is needed to Trigger Blue stagger. I frequently get Blue Stagger hints while Using Torcleaver, so I can't see it not being possible.

I believe so, but unless you're sitting on 10,000,000 Cruor or currently raping a Leprechaun, it probably won't be worth trying.

Also worth noting is that getting a hint is not proof that you landed a WS cleanly as some of us in the group I run around abyssea with thought at first. You can WS or land magic while the mob is definitely casting or doing a TP move and still get the hint.

I thought getting a blue !! hint was from doing one of the many high-tiered weaponskills while getting red !! hint was from doing any of the low tiered elemental weaponskills

got cloak,neck,back to drop with only TH. but it was TH 10 on the mob lol. Also just because you proc blue !! doesn't mean you get gear D:
I think with my group...we went a total of 25 blue !!'d runs but i think 4~5 of those we just got a synthesis item drop with no gear/accessories and we even had TH.

I've never done a shinryuu with out a blu !! but the only time that we only got sythesis materials was on the runs that every person had all three accessories.

I wouldn't recommend doing this fight without 100% chance at a blu !! and a decent level of TH. Seems like a waste of time if you don't considering the amount of fights we've had to do just to get 2 sets.
