For me one of the more interesting things to do in Abyssea is hunt down atmas. Currently there are 145 atmas in FFXI:
10 - Abyssea - La Theine
10 - Abyssea - Konschtat
10 - Abyssea - Tahrongi
10 - Abyssea - Attohwa
10 - Abyssea - Misareaux
10 - Abyssea - Vunkerl
13 - Abyssea - Altepa
13 - Abyssea - Uleguerand
13 - Abyssea - Grauberg
1 - Abyssea - Empyreal Paradox
9 - Vision Synthetic Atmas
13 - Scars Synthetic Atmas
23 - Heroes Synthetic Atmas
145 - Total Atmas
So the questions are:
How many atmas do you currently have?
Do you plan on eventually having them all?

not gonna count them, but certainly never plan on having them all. I already have to scroll through 6 pages of ***to get to atma of apocalypse. I'm not trying to increase that further.

Perhaps in the next version update they'll introduce a quest that will reward you for having all atmas? Perhaps something cool like a "4th lunar".
And Tiger, you're absolutely right about the scrolling to find the atmas you want. I hope they address that.

Yea a manual sort would be nice, or a way to make sets so you can just pick the set like "Nin NM Solo" and it puts on all the atmas in that set.
I have 3 pages of Atmas, getting close to 4. And no, don't plan on getting them all.

I was under the impression that Atma of the Savior was for clearing all 9 zone bosses. So it's actually for having all atmas in all 9 zones?
I don't have it, and can't buy it in Grauberg, and it seems like that atma would be from one of the T3 zones, so...

I haven't counted but im on my 5th or 6th page now and its annoying to scroll thru them all to find the ones I wanna use.
And its seems the 55 or so Atmas that I have I only use a select few.

BLU: VV/RR/GH (I usually have my rdm mule refreshing me)
My real motivation for creating this thread is so the mods will give us an atma check list ._.;

You should try out Apoc instead of GH, too. Unless you use BT a lot.

I don't know, this atma sounds (potentially) incredibly useful.
I have none on my main and just VV on my alt. :(
