My static going to tackle this guy soon, looking for lowman suggestions as we are only 6-ppl if all are on. Been clearing all +2 dropping bosses with:
Thf/nin, whm/rdm, blm/rdm, brd, brd, & processor (usually war)
We heard that we may need a 2nd healer, but with both brds /whm, should we be ok?

Thf damage will be horrible but aslong as you stun the bindgas you should be fine.
Its a Mandau thf with full evasion gear and all necessary atmas to do ample dmg...does the scorp have high defense?
Hed has pretty decent phys dmg resistance so you might be poking it for awhile. As was mentioned as long as you have good stunners to stop once it switches from bindga > hell scissors to bindga > death scissors and some decent HP to survive getting your face sheared off you'll be fine.
Thanks for the tip, still finishing some +2 NMs in Attohwa before heading back to altepa to wrap it up. We updated the strat for Titlacauan and might go SMN-heavy on the scorp after 50% while keeping the thf's TH high
everyone forgot to mention the meeean poison aura it has? :o
strongly recomend the atma you get from Kukulkan with "resist poison" and bring many antidotes if you gonna melee it.

Not necessary at all. Unless whm is completely HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE.
Solo it as blm. Pull it south of where the scorps spawn and kite nuke. it just deaggros really REALLY fast (which is kinda good). Walks super slow.
Killed this with way less that that (blm whm thf) the main thing is to stun breakga or bindga which it does every 50 seconds than it wont even follow up with death or hell scissors. Thief was buff as hell no mandau though I'm sure you guys will have no problem.
rdm/blm and mnk/nin can duo that bish in about 15-20 mins. just stun all of it's casting and should be cake. if the rdm can't handle curing and stunning then bring another healer. just use RR/siren/C&D eat sushi and should be good.
