Didn't see a thread about this yet.

With all the DD ability and infinite MP of WHMs now, would WHM/MNK tanking be a viable option with Hexa Strike spamming?

We wouldn't even need proper healers anymore since WHMs can just C5/C6 bomb themselves for infinite HP on any mob inside Abyssea.

What kind of sets should we use? Comments and suggestions please!

Tanking? Nah. Not with Cure V or VI. Too little hate. Solo? Sure.

I think the real question is BLM/MNK tanking. Start up a thread on that.

Well we could bomb Cure 4 to cap enmity, that and the madddddddddd Hexa damage plus DoT will surely be enough.

I've been thinking about the BLM/MNK too actually, Counter + Mana Wall = ??? = Profit

Now we're talking. 50% PDT or MDT with gear + 50% DT from Mana Wall + 50% Counterstance = 150% awesome.

Toss on some refresh atmas and you're invincible.

/Mnk needs to stop lol.

Whm/Nin with Emn + Atmas, Emn+ gear and shitty DD's could surely tank basically anything tho.

/mnk is a big joke specially for whm cuz a good geared whm/nin with apo/RR/MM atma can keep parse with lot of DD, could skip MM if u manage to get refresh. :P

Molva maul to main hand n goedendang offhand (delay-33 cuz im stuck on gnats trial) is wat im usin atm n i average 2.5k hexa strike, 3.2k is my highest so far. went to help a friend yesterday farmin KI n dmg vs dmg is thf n my whm was pretty close, i was even able to grab hate at sum point (that is with minimum cure needed)

so unless the NM use lots of AoE move or triple atk like crazy /nin will win over /mnk. i would even /dnc or /sch /rdm b4 usin /Mnk if AoE was a problem

whm does have access to a lot of mind gear would be interested in seeing some numbers if anybody has SS

But srsly, since everyone knows anyone with half a brain should quit any other job (GOD FORBID YOU PLAY A JOB BECAUSE ITS FUN!11!!1) and level MNK or WHM, then team up to duo everything in the game, the WHM could /mnk and do some srs dmg alongside the MNK.
