I don't see anything wrong with creating a feature to report misuse of the website's forums. But, I don't think a thread will do the job.

Actually, if you rate a post down, you get a "Report?" button there, so we actually have a report function!

Ohh? I should have used that I guess all I did was click report. I have decided just to use block for now that seems to work pretty good for me.
