What grinds your gears?
Josiahkf said: » That camp sucks anyway, I didn't even bother because someone is always there acting a fool. Garlage past the flower gate has 10 chamber beetles you just chain them then -ga and 5 min respawn. Guaranteed privacy lol And I swore I added that camp to wiki saying not to go to the crawler's nest crap hmmm I don't know...there are 2 goblins in the past with pets they could have done...but instead we all sat around just waiting for respawns and then fighting over them... Totally just ignored my advice...they claim they had been at that camp working on the trial for days >.> (yes days) when shopping online and the place you are looking at as weird sizes and you dont know which one to get so you just pick the smallest size and hope for the best.
when you combine food thinking it will taste good only it being gross and ruining your whole plate, or bowl, of food when you take a shower in the morning and realize after you're done that you forgot your towel. it's gonna be one of those days

All these people are like "oh, it's so nice outside, let's go to the beach, blah blah." I hate the damn sun.
People who change their address every two years.
K, in the past 7 years, my parents have moved about 5 times. They really have no reason to move, it's not like they found an excellent job in their new location or whatever. Just wherever they go, they feel like they would be happier somewhere else, so they pack up and move somewhere else. The fact that they move every couple of years seems to not have sunk in (like honestly, how do you not notice that you are packing your whole house up every couple of years, if not more frequently?) or maybe they just are confident that wherever they go next will make them happy. So they don't rent houses, oh no, they move all the time and buy houses wherever they go, and then whine to me that they have too many houses and can't pay for them all. Well stop expecting someone to come along right behind you and buy all your stupid houses then! Especially when my stepmother paints every single kitchen she owns lemon-chartreuse! Nobody likes the color chartreuse except you! Anyways, whatever. They are all grown up and can do what they want. But my god, if they change their stupid mailing address ONE. MORE. TIME. K so, what brought this on was, my dad's birthday was a couple days ago. I bought him a present on Amazon and had Amazon just ship it to his house instead of sending it to me and then me sending it to him. They had a P.O. box where they are now, which is a darn good thing because they often decide to move houses in a new town. "Well I like that one's garden better, let's go there instead of working on our own garden!" >.> Really. So I send his silly present to their P.O. box, then the next day in the mail I get a card from them for our anniversary. And wouldn't you know, they have a different return address on the card. Why did you stop using the PO box! WHY! I'm not sending you another present! You have lived in that town for two years and changed your address three times! Street address, PO box, different street address! If you people want me to keep sending you crap, then sit your butts down in one spot and STAY THERE!
Poor Liela ... maybe if you just steer clear of your parents your gears wouldn't be ground so often.

So they move a lot. So what. It has nothing to do with me. I just should call before sending anything to be sure of their current address. Getting annoyed over it just means I'm a crabby girl at heart, I think! Most of the stuff that annoys me really shouldn't annoy me, actually. /blush Lottery spawn trials.
People who order jumbo sized food in fast food restaurants but then get a diet soda on the side. Like yeah, that soda is what's making you fat.
Really some do like it better. Bismarck.Cicada said: » People who order jumbo sized food in fast food restaurants but then get a diet soda on the side. Like yeah, that soda is what's making you fat. Grinds my gears when people refer to America as only the US, and not the entire western hemisphere as it rightfully is. ie North AMERICA, South AMERICA, Central AMERICA... Incompetence on an international scale.
Still funny though. I dunno.. humanity accidentally filling up on liquids when they go out to eat now we REALLY get the chance to eat to our hearts[disease] content. Grinding^ Or we can just order two drinks. because god knows we wanna go green so two styrofoam to-go cups are better than one. Also grinding^ That said I think the gov't is overstepping... for many different reasons... Forest fires grind my gears. Most of my family lives in New Mexico, and having grown up there, a lot of the people I know also live in New Mexico. The state is on fire. Some of my old friends have been evacuated from Capitan, and my band director's brother lives there. We used to play with him and his band. The former police chief of Ruidoso had his house burn down while he was helping others evacuate. My old director and his wife and two young children live in Ruidoso.
If the fire moves south-southwest, it could hit my family and friends in Truth or Consequences/Elephant Butte and then my family in Deming. If it moves north it could hit my family in Albuquerque. It makes me feel guilty for being excited that we are going to the zoo today. Rotten daughter, feeling excited for the zoo when my friends are in danger and my family could be if the fire doesn't get under control. Odin.Liela said: » Forest fires grind my gears. Rotten daughter, feeling excited for the zoo when my friends are in danger and my family could be if the fire doesn't get under control. While you're wishing it doesn't go that way, I'm really hoping it does, and that he gets caught in the fire. He's the only one I want burned out though, I wish it only on him. If the fire could think and target only him and ignore everyone else, I would be just as happy as if it just so happened to catch him. So I'd say you're in the clear and no reason to feel guilty. Although I do have a question.. How the hell does a wildfire keep going in New Mexico and actually threaten houses? I went there for a months with my father when I was really young, and the majority of what I saw of it, including the 10 or so mile radius around where I was living, was nothing but vast open sea of sand and dirt.. I mean there were houses scattered here and there, and a few roads you could see, but the rest was just a wasteland with a few cactus spread out here and there.. Where I was, and what I saw of it, there was literally no way for a wildfire to keep spreading, it would die after the first or second tree burned down. The Gila National Forest is in the mountains above T or C. Also, sagebrush and tumbleweeds burn. :/
Maybe it was cuz my dad was wanted, and he purposely stuck to the middle of no where, but once we crossed the state line, we still drove for at least 6 hours, it all just looked like a world in which the zombie apocalypse has already happened, 500 years in the past, and every last man, woman, child and zombie are long gone..
There's foliage, it's just not the usual stuff. Yucca, century plants, that sort of thing. Who was the person in T or C that you hated?
Trying to buy crysta. (ノ`0)ノ ⌒┫

I lived in Elephant Butte technically, but went to school in T or C of course. He might have been a few years too old to have crossed my path much though. Either way, I'm glad the better of the two of you got Annika. ~.^
But I'm worried because now the fire is threatening the upper canyon and everyone there (including my director) is on precautionary evacuation as of two hours ago. They have to be packed and ready to go at a moment's notice if the fire slips past the firefighters. Being in that situation, if they do have to run they won't really have loads of time to let anyone know until they are safe, so no news isn't really good news in this case. If we stop receiving updates, it's because they had to run and their home is threatened. And being that it's high enough altitude there to support trees, that'll be harder to control than a brush fire because fires from trees can jump across highways and roads. :-( Honestly, can't New Mexico just stop setting itself on fire? Really. He's quite a bit older, I'm younger than my wife, and he's older than her (by 1 year I think).. He's like 5 years older than I am or something.
I'm not sure how long ago he moved there though.. Don't think it would've been more than 10 years ago. Games that restrict single player content based on completion of multiplayer objectives.
Prime violation being White Knight Chronicles 2, which caps you at level 55(max is 80) until you get your online guild rank up, which takes forever. I definitely wouldn't have known him. It's such a small town that you just expect to know everybody, but I'm too young and it's been too long. That town is terrifying anyways. There was the David Parker Ray thing, he was the serial killer who lived a couple blocks from me. Creeptastic. Then there was my friend's brother Mical who was murdered there by a boy we all knew and grew up with. Then a few days ago it came up that a 29 year old police officer (now former police officer >.>) had a relationship and married a 15 year old girl that he first met when she was a runaway. Way to take advantage of a vulnerable kid. And accidents happen to people there a lot. One of the smartest guys I knew, straight-A, really nice fellow, good athlete, everyone liked him-- either *accidentally* went to sleep in his car with it on or committed suicide via carbon monoxide poisoning. No one believes he would have killed himself but he was way too smart to do it accidentally. My bestie from 4-8th grade died last month, she ran off somewhere and got a tick bite, spent a few years in a hospital with chemo and abdominal surgeries and told me they were going to release her soon. Then I wake up one day and she's dead. Oh, and then there's the giant catfish legend. ._. Even if I never believed it, I always hated swimming in that lake. That entire valley is a creepy, scary place. |
