However, finding out the base damage of spells, especially ones that have a unique formula derived from both Conjuration and the relevant weapon skill along with relevant perks, such as Overdraw and Mystic Binding will prove somewhat difficult. In terms of damage I'm sure it measures up pretty well to a Daedric Bow, minus the smithing enchantments of course and assuming your skills are on par with each other. But the best feature is the free 100 ammo upon summoning and the free Soul Trap effect with Soul Stealer. Only real disadvantage is the inability to improve via Enchantments or Grindstone. However, the free/limitless ammo and combined skill>damage formula will likely work in your favor as well. I hope Bethesda adds more than just Sword, Battleaxe and Bow. I think every weapon deserves a bound version. Something about slitting throats with magic, ethereal daggers sounds enthralling. If you're having bow problems, I feel bad for you son,
I don't get this knee thing.
I haven't touched skyrim in weeks, anyone care to enlighten me, I see this quote at least 50 times a day... and ... even if it might be funny to begin with... it's being a bit overused :| One of the phrases the guards say is "I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee"
Bismarck.Dreadnot said: » One of the phrases the guards say is "I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took an arrow to the knee" I fail to see why it caught on... or why people think it's funny lol. TO each their own I guess. I think it caught on because it sounds like something ONE guard could say, but EVERY guard in all of Skyrim says it. Pretty ridiculous after you visit several towns and cities.
Makes you wonder "who the hell is shooting all these guards in the damn knees?" Well ... then it's still not funny, it just shows you the incompetency of the developers to come up with unique dialog >.> Asura.Bartimaeus said: » It's funny, don't be a grump catnip. :lll Maybe I need to play skyrim to find it funny? lol. I'm not a grump it just irks me when I go to a website and see it plastered like a 100 billion times in the span of 10 words. Asura.Bartimaeus said: » I've actually only heard it like twice maybe. I don't like coming into contact with guards... >____> lol. Asura.Bartimaeus said: » I've actually only heard it like twice maybe. I don't like coming into contact with guards... >____> I chat up the guards every time I come to a new town. Mixed in with the regular repeated phrases, each town's guards will give you locations of dungeons and even start side-quests. I don't really see why its so funny either or how it turned itself into an internet meme. I'm getting kind of sick of seeing it everywhere I go, but it will blow over eventually.
I walked into the fort morvunskar.... To find sanguine inside slaughtering all the mages. He was comPletely intangible neither I nor the mages could hit him. Was rather amusing to watch

Okay so I just noticed something that's probably rather obvious to most of you, so perhaps you can explain it to me.
I noticed on a lot of random weapons and armor I pick up from dead bandits and whatnot there's a tiny transparent triangle to the right of the name of the item. It isn't the favorite symbol, so what the heck is it, and what does it mean? Some have it, and some don't, and I just can't for the life of me figure out the difference. more damage/more defense than what youre using
Asura.Fondue said: » more damage/more defense than what youre using I guess that would make sense. Perhaps I'm spoiled by having a 16-bit replica of my character flailing his arms up and down when selecting equipment that is better than my currently equipped one. Though I still find it odd it's still there on things I already had equipped >_______> Cerberus.Rayik said: » I think it caught on because it sounds like something ONE guard could say, but EVERY guard in all of Skyrim says it. Makes you wonder "who the hell is shooting all these guards in the damn knees?" Yes, this exactly. When I first heard it I thought "Well, that's pretty neat that they gave one guard a backstory." Then I heard every guard everywhere say it.... I'm just like what? There is obviously a conspiracy to shoot all adventurers in the knee and make them guards! Make sure you wear knee protection. should make a dlc pack where all you do is shoot people in the knee
I always try to killshot people in the knees.
