I got a tattoo last night. It's not finished, but after a little over three hours I tapped out. I'll go back in December to have some more work done on it. The roses and petals will be red, the leaves will be green, and there will be some shading along the backs and curves of the banner.
It hurt like Dickens himself! But it's worth it. :-)

Liela just got an additional +1000 cool points for going full sleeve. Another +1000 for being music themed. I think that brings your total to roughly 1,000,000 including all your lol posts.
I want to do a sleeve, but my tattoo guy threw reality at me and said my idea wouldn't work so well. I wanted all the final fantasy cover arts, but most are just too detailed to work the way I want. Getting Meteor done in black and gray though after school. Also need to get a triforce.

Thanks! The song is called "Shatter Me" by Lindsey Stirling and Lzzy Hale. It's about a ballerina stuck in a snow globe. The entire song she's begging someone to come break the glass and let her out. She's lonely and she's dizzy because all she can do is spin in circles. Then she realizes that she's the only one who can break the glass, and the only reason that things haven't changed yet is because she's too scared to change them herself. The 8 measures I picked for the tattoo are at the point in the song where I think she decides to break it herself and be her own hero, singing "If I break the glass then I'll have to fly. There's no one to catch me if I take a dive. I'm scared of changing, the days stay the same. The world is spinning, but only in vain." (Only in vain until she breaks the glass, that is.) It reminds me that if I want things to change, then I have to be brave enough to change them myself. Here, you can hear it if you want:
