NOOOOOO Iro! I vaguely remember fussing at you over that watermelon last night, and then I just clicked the spoiler like a gullible twerp, not even suspecting a thing. xD
I think I remember Krizz saying somewhere that he just uses water on it or something. But I might have hallucinated that up, I've been known to be completely, outrageously wrong on such things before.
You guys make me want a pretty bird <3 <3 My parents had two parakeets when I was still living with them, they were adorable. But the noise they make drives my husband crazy, so I can't!

This was back in July, holding my brand new baby niece Addison.
I wasn't actually trying to point at her blanket, she was just the first baby I'd ever held and I was afraid to break her so I'd only touch with one or two fingers at a time. /blush

He used to use just water, now he uses some hair glue/gel stuff...
And yes he goes to work like that some days ;)

And yes he goes to work like that some days ;) What she said. I use hair glue primarily. The 'stronger' stuff from the same brand went back to being gel. I don't like that, and it doesn't seem to work as well.
We have visitors from the Pentagon coming tomorrow, so I'm hoping it cooperates in the morning so I can spike it up.

Lol I know what you mean, my gray has a right set of lungs on her... she doesn't talk yet... but she bloody loves doing the wolf whistle lol. Trying to watch a dvd while she is in the room is almost impossible lolol.

You sound like me back before my son was born. I'd grown up with younger cousins, and already had two nieces before my son came along, and I'd hardly touch them, let alone hold them.
Even now, I don't like holding other peoples' kids all that much... But that's also partly just because of an attachment to my own.

It's kinda funny, if I knew some bigwig was coming to see where I worked, I'd try to look extra conservative and prim and proper. Then there's Krizz. "Well we have bigwigs coming so I'm hoping to spike my hair ALL the way up! Mwahahaha!" lol xD

I wish I could have an African Grey! They're so cool, but totally not ready to commit to a bird that can live as long as they do. I've had birds in my house pretty much all my life, they make such cool pets. Some of my earliest memories are my parents breeding budgies and having little baby budgies.
As for the noise level, I have a female cockatiel who barely makes a peep. She's so sweet too, she'll sit on my shoulder/against my neck and cuddle for hours on end. On the other hand, I have a male Senegal who picks up the most random noises, from the smoke alarm >__________< to shoes squeaking on the floor. Was so glad when we moved.. at our old house we had this super sensitive smoke alarm that would go off every time I cooked (or maybe I'm just a terrible cook), and now he's finally forgotten about that noise and doesn't make it anymore. He talks too, but not to me, only to himself when he thinks no one is listening :(

My Eclectus (Jake) does more talking. My Grey (Dexter) does mostly sound effects. She had her name before we knew she was a girl and decided not to change it lol. She says words also, but I'd say sound effects are her favorite.
Jake's favorites are: "Tickle Tickle" "What are you doing?" "What's up?"
Dexter's favorites are a squeaky door closing, water dripping, and the beep from the price gun scanner at work. ~.~ That last one I swear...
