And also, maybe I read wrong but seems ppl are saying that dual wield makes you get less TP or something.I wanna know if I can stop camp V.belt and stupid khalamari I'm like 0/45 atm <.< stupid neck >.<
DW reduces your TP/hit but will increase your TP gain over time, especially when it reduces your delay/hand to very low levels (below 180).

Stop camping Vbelt and camp Goading or Bullwhip instead :P

What is stupid is that dnc now can DD / cure 900~ dmg and tank with ease.

others DD are not stupid, just what you think about them is.
Any DD can tank and cures are nothing special for CE gain, nothing particularly noteworthy there. If MP was still an issue our curing power over time (ie Waltz III spam) would still be notable, but it's not and Cure V/VI are more suited to damage taken in Abyssea anyway.

Someone please please please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just now learning FFXI math myself. The "plug and chug" part of the calculations is very easy, but I still have a tendency to get the formulas and variables wrong.
One nitpick, account for DW before factoring in any haste.

Can i nitpick too? lol

Multiplication is commutative^^. Operand order does not affect the result~

We need to factor dw first to know our delay for tp calculations. Taking we are only interested on our final delay here, we can just multiplicate them away.

True, but it's good practice given that TP reduction is evident at 20%. I should have elaborated~

9%+12.5%+15%+10% = 46.5% base with 2x March + Haste + my own Haste Samba
5%+5%+5%+30%= 45% dual wield with nusku, suppa and charis necklace
4%+5%+3%+6%= 18% haste charis legs/feet/head+2 and ocelot gloves
190+201= 391 delay Daka+1 and Kila+1

391*0.355
138.8*0.55
76.3 delay

391*0.2
78.2 delay cap
I would have to say that there is a 99% chance that 1 of these numbers are wrong.

I just think the haste *** everyone has gotten a little "out of hand". I will make it my #1 priority to post more. i dont wanna troll anymore. but for reals, a stop watch will answer attack speed difference faster than a calculator will.

not that i ever tried a calculator or stopwatch for a game before

Human error would be more like equipping gear that was not performing the way you were told, or the way you were assuming, it should. Stop watch is just the individual's reaction skillz. I'm surprised there hasn't been a program that timed attack turns.

Human error would be very slight if you did it right and ya know actually timed how long it would take for several attack rounds (10 or so maybe?) to go by instead of 1

Not much of an assist; it invalidates your premise. I can calculate attack delay in a matter of seconds. Finding delay manually with any degree of accuracy is going to take at least three times that, never mind prep time... and it'll never be as precise as my results.

EDIT: Also, you can't time setups that you don't actually have. I can calculate them.

Even a fallacy such as a .1 delay in stopping the stopwatch on time complete skews the accurate numbers. (Inb4 superhumanreflexes) I'd rather calculate it.

I'm gonna divert from the obvious troll here.

The best thing about this news imo, is laughing at all the people who thought DW War would make a comeback with DW3 @90.

You're aware it only comparatively hurts WAR/NIN if you have >~73% Haste?

Okay, so I skimmed over this topic and failed to see how it applies to daily life on the game, my only question is, with 25% gear Haste should I be using Rapidus Sux offhand instead of Auric Dagger?

How often do you actually have double march, fully merited haste samba, and haste? Moreso, how often do you even need that with the game in easy mode?

Because you don't have the jobs this is most applicable to.

Pretty sure between the two you should be using Rapidus regardless, but neither one is particularly good aside from Auric's SB anyway.

All I need for this to affect me as a NIN is haste and double marches with BRD AF3+2 hands. DNC obviously has Haste Samba 99% of the time. This is very relevant to them. Consider that /DNC has its uses in group play as well, and 5% extra haste can still impact gear choices.

Do I need it? Not really, but it's not like I need most of my gear either. You don't see me fighting NMs naked.
