Body Af+3 For Blue Mages, Looks Like They Changed

Just looked at the new body and hand armor coming for the next update and when i looked at blue mage i was a little disappointed. If you look at the pics on Scars of Abyssea you can see its more detailed. But when you look at the Heros of abyssea its just simply plain. Can it be a mistake or do they just not like us blus anymore =p

AF3 body for other jobs are still pretty detailed. BLU AF3 body totally lacks the "Immortal" feel.

The first picture of the BLU was an Ebur Talar. Also the RDM was wearing Duelist's Tabard.

I personally kind of like it, it's different enough to stand out on it's own and is not a recolor.

As half of this thread said I like it too. Glad they didnt just take the AF1 and 2 and recolor it.

....now to work on the look of our headpiece....

Also glad about this, but at same time figured they wouldn't do that since they did remodel the other piece, closest looking piece to original AF1 and AF2 are the gloves, and even they have a different look.

blu body look more futurist ! anyway abyssea is the futur... and i like it but the head... someone should make a .dat and only leave the hairpin on it >.<

It gives you the sort of captain of the guard look. Would look good with a cape coming out the back. I like it except for the tennis skirt peaking out the bottom of it.

Hm... I see some similiarities to it, but it's still different enough to label it as a reskin rather then a recolor if you want to look at it that way.

At first I was really skeptical, but I've quickly grown to like how it looks. I think it's just because it's different and it takes a bit of getting used to. Also, I actually think they just took the image at a weird angle that made it look unnaturally odd.

But yeah, I kinda like it now. And I'm really excited to see how it's going to look on my character Jessie ^^

I'm extremely pleased with the direction Square-Enix took on every set. Each set looks very unique from its artifact and relic cousins in colour, texture, and overall model. And it's definitely going to all be worth wearing quite a lot of the time so now each job is going to seem more distinguished.

My favourite of the empyrean sets is Dragoon, but I can honestly say I like them all.

I've become a bit more accepting of the body as well, though I still dislike how it doesn't really match the rest of the set =\

Yeah I don't like it myself, I don't think it goes with the rest of the set, and as ugly as the hat/legs are (I like the feet, sue me) I figured a good body design could bring it all together, but it didn't.

As for stats, I hope it's a nuking piece, just so I can /facepalm at all the idiots that will tp in it.

Yes Laffter, yes it is...

i like the AFv3 look for BLU..its just it seems out of place..the Armor makes BLU look like a job that would use a gun instead of a sword,lol
