Not really. You may have a really successful LS, or skilled people that you can do events with well. It doesn't mean that you're close friends with them outside the game though. Some people are sensitive enough to take offense to countering views and then they use that as a means of ousting a person from a group.
Can enjoy playing the game with people you don't agree with on real life topics.
If anything it's respect for their views. You intentionally go out of your way as to not offend someone you enjoy playing with.
