Almost any movie that's "inspired by" or "based on" a book. It's almost always butchered to no end. The Other Boleyn Girl, for example, was an amazing book with a terrible movie. The best part of the movie was watching the trailer... and I'm not kidding.

I dunno, Names are the same in the novel and stuff, the story is completely different though.

Richard Matheson's novel I Am Legend was first brought to the movie screen in the 1964 Vincent Price film The Last Man on Earth, then again with the 1971 Charlton Heston version The Omega Man. Now it's being introduced to a new generation via the 2007 movie starring Will Smith.

Yeah, It's safe to say both are based on the book but I Am Legend went off on it's own branch which was a pretty lame move, but regardless I still enjoyed the movie.

Imagine Will Smith's character replaced with Charleston Heston lol.

It's other peoples fault that you expected a real life story? Of course it was made up, it was a movie, not a documentary not a based on the life of. It was a story with very little similarities to Eminem's life.

You obviously have your mind made up about the main actor in the movie I don't know why you even bothered seeing it (if you even did) I can understand not everyone enjoying the movie but the reasoning you listed is just lazy ignorance.

back when that movie came out i liked eminem. nevertheless i can say that the movie sucked bad, and i wasnt the only person who said that.

bad acting, bad story and the ending wasnt too great either.

if you liked the movie, awesome. your opinion ;)

It's the classic underdog story in a modern era, what was bad about the story? I agree the ending kind of left you hanging though, was as if they didn't know how to wrap it up lol.

Also not looking forward to PA2, a movie based on the success of it's predecessor and not an original idea... SAW movies anyone >_> ?
