Is it just this girls dream? I'd love to be able to tab out and not lag up/crash or anything. I remember with FFXI's, I could tab out and my controler let me still move/fight/macro's all that. Tab-play, basicly.
If not, I'll have to live with the normal windowed mode if I even do that :o

I should have posted sooner, lol. I posted that windower in the beta thread a while back. It works with retail, and rather well might I add.
I got something about the Website's Account being suspended lol.

All it does it make your window borderless. Make sure to set windowed mode to your native resolution.
(For people who may not trust the other windower or would prefer something from an established community such as Aikar's.)
I will attest to the fact that both work and are safe.

I just like windower, I feel it makes the game run smoother ^^
Also the things on ffxi were nice, being able to tab-play was my biggest thing I liked. (Able to tab off and still control my character, to keep going where ever I'm going while I lookup something was win!)

i hope SE fixes it they used to have the keyboard controls exactly like ffxi and it worked perfect dunno who the idiot was who thought of the new camera scheme.

I would play WoW but the art style just turns me off. Something about the way the characters look just doesn't appeal to me. Everything else about the game i like. Oh well, maybe he'll come back around should SE improve on what some players don't like about FFXIV. Of course we shouldn't hold our breath, right?

I agree, some of the UI designs in the game can't be justified by anyone not in the process of having a stroke.
Still, I love the core of the game enough to pick it up when all those tech issues are fleshed out, probably by the 30th, lol CE = 25Dollar Beta4.
I was actually looking to get the Windower for 14, because I can't stand the game in any other mode but fullscreen, but I also can't stand not being able to look up sweet pr0ns at the same time, infuriating!
Still, I love the core of the game enough to pick it up when all those tech issues are fleshed out, probably by the 30th, lol CE = 25Dollar Beta4.

A - Aikar is a dude
B - Aikar knows more about the mechanics and software implementations of FFXi and FFXIV then pretty much anyone other than SE.
C - He's been playing MMO's since EQ
His comments are on a much deeper level implementation wise than i think most people would consider.
