Just been doing Nyzul Isle with a group.. and i've R0'd and keep getting an error (POL-0011).
could someone do me a favour and /t vivmorley OR /t tylerx: Let em know I am trying to get back on, but if they find a rep, to go for it.
I don't wanna be seen to be "that douchebag who fake DCs" - Would appreciate it if someone could help n drop them a quick tell on my behalf.

Have you tried shutting POL down completely and then trying to log back in? I know when I R0 I have to do that or it just keeps giving me error codes.
Yeah, I've shut it down and rebooted router, rebooted PC. Changed firewall settings to allow FFXI... Still getting POL-0011.
Can't find a (working) link to AOL-Chat / help. Have emailed, but getting bored of waiting for a response. Ringing them didn't help (even when I told em my router settings were blank, they just blamed it on a server issue and told me there was nothing wrong with my router :/ - but I couldn't connect. Fixed that now, can connect.. but still no FFXI :()

Are you R0ing the minute you go on? If you are, TalkTalk Users had a HUGE problem with this, they gave in after we collectively bitched for about 2 weeks... It's definately an ISP issue, but the odds are they will refuse to listen to you.

Everything works.. with the exceptions of FF11 and Xbox Live (which i've just discovered)

Hotspot is a VPN program which diverts your web traffic through another server before it reaches you, in short, FFXI won't be using the ports that it normally does (and may indeed be blocked.) however, this only works on the PC version of the game.

Try that before you call AOL again, because if you are using the PC Version and it works, it is their problem, not yours.

Basically.. Someone in an AOL call center was helpful. Got me connected properly and got my Xbox live running again. I haven't even checked FFXI.. But meh, imma play xbox for abit so that can wait xD

I get the same error 0011.
My Laptop uses the exact same web connection and router and it has no issues connecting to ffxi.
No idea what it is but the PC just wont connect back to ffxi again since that boot.
I reinstalled on the PC still nothing... I dnt wanna play on the laptop forever.. lol
