Well SE patched weather magian count last patch like everyone know...
5pt for elemental weather kill and 1 for day.
But didnt they changes weather pops too ???
Since update i'm in Quicksand and i can wait for DAYS without weather to pop, and its like the third day...and when she pop its only for about 5mn...
Was not like this before update.
I'm VERY unlucky or someone else got same troubles with weathers ?

I am having same issue to with weather. Doesn't really come on as often and rarely does (;_;)

When I did my sword trial in Quicksand Caves I waited 3 RL hours till weather pop. And it was the wrong weather. That was before the update. Not experiencing anything unusual. I believe you just had bad luck.

I once waited like 2-3 rl weeks to get double earth to spawn there... and then it was up almost 50% of the game days for the next several rl days. Just check npc/item then come back a few hours later and do it again
Also... Much like real weather forecasting.... IT CAN BE WRONG. I've have no forecast for rain via the Magian specs but yet still had the weather pop.

As anyone who has ever camped Kreutzet (or any other weather spawned NM for that matter) can tell you. Weather is never there when you need it and always there when you don't. For months after my ordeal in Cape Terrigan my heart would race every time I'd see wind in Whitegate lol.

The game knows your expecting that weather so they wont give it to you :P it aways seems to work that way. and pops when you dont need it.
Not like those are really those good of zones for earth lol
it is early year in vana'diel. Weather is not coming up that much in this time. more in August to September Vana'diel-Time.

Yeah of course because no one is used to this magian stuff. Se made thing easy but slapped everyone in the face with weather conditions. I felt the weather changes too, and it is obvious they did something.
I waited around 40 hours(rl) for weather to Pop in CN when I was doing my BLM quest.
30 hours for 10 minutes of wind in aydeewa subterrain
one time SE trolled me with a dumb quest that made me stand in a single zone for 72 hours straight

There are seasons in Vanadiel just like in real life.
You'll get periods of weather often during certain times, and little at other times.
Eg: The jungle usually has sparse terms of rain, but every few weeks, the rain becomes extremely common,
Then at other periods, it rarely rains and you get heat waves instead.

Or you could just look outside... gives you a pretty good idea what the weather is like or will be like irl. For everything else there's mastercard magian spectacles

I call BS, Quicksand Caves is part of the same area (weatherwise) as the desert. Anyone that has camped KV knows that you will get weather there atleast once per RL day.

double earth is 100% chance of spawn and single is 50% chance of spawn. wrong information is still wrong information
