I am undeadfire on ship 10.
So I didn't see this anywhere on the blog I check... didn't look through this thread yet but I know the OBT started today... but how long does it last or when does it end?
Just a little curious... my friend kind of ended up using my PC to play it and i'm tired as hell now so doubt i'll get on anymore tonight.

Betas mostly last 1-2 months depends on type really.
Yeah was just curious since I don't really see anything related to an end date... I'm gonna go scour the emails from them to see if I can find some info.
I played it for a good lil bit, I somewhat like it for the most part it just really won't be great to me until an unofficial english patcher comes out like what existed for pre-beta. I think this will make an amazing PS vita game tho.
Sega put files on ecryption so the developer for the english language mod is going to lead to problems. It may take a while to get through.
Yeah I would really love the english patch, but it's still playable at least and fun :3

If you see Undeadfire that is me for Ship 10 server. I been understanding the game even if it's in Japanese XD!

They re-opened Ship 2 (and the other closed ones) today, so if you were waiting get your character made quick. :)
Ship 2-10 have plenty of english people. Get in fast.
So i made the sega ID and all that stuff and im downloading it but i cant figure this part out ..

This ***seriously needs an English patch, I feel sad that it doesn't. While saying that, didn't I hear they it's a possibility that it is not being released in the US? I read this some time ago, or maybe I just misread that information.

No one has confirmed it yet. PSP2i didnt get a US release due to piracy issues of the previous game. Even if it doesnt get released, some skill coder will do an english patch. Again of course Ive overheard that they encrypted the data to make an english patch. So that makes me wonder if they are trying to keep NA players out of it.
On a side note however I forgot to mention, I did find this guide on how to navigate the JP version beta.

The update is very large. Try to be patient it will go through.
Ship 10 is still open I think. Find me "Undeadfire" if you wish lol. I'm currently online right now.

Anyone use a gamepad for this? I've tried to but the analog doesn't work right. I can't figure out how to calibrated it right for this game.

I use my wired 360 gamepad and it works wonderfully.
That's probably why. I use a ps2 controller that's connected with a adapter. Guess I'll have to buy one.
I use 360 controller too... works perfect but now that I try and play any game I press B as select and A to back out, it *** my world up in FFXI
I just play with keyboard ^_^
