I didn't ask for nor does it bother me that they made it.
I just don't think it's really gonna address any real problem(not real, forum lol) outside of appeasing the masses.

Admin: if you even want to block quotes, wouldn't it be possible to make it so when (I.e scragg who blocks jaerik) jaerik is quoted, scragg sees ????? Pop up, whenever the combination jaerik appears? Like it would also affect if so someones name is heyjaeriky, would become, hey??????y.

Our forums, being minimalist for security reasons, don't "shallow link" quotes like vBulletin or PHPBB do. In other words, a quote is merely a copy of text from one post into another, not actual back reference to the original.
This means that the only way for us to hide quotes would be to actually scan the text of every post to block out whatever is between (quote)(/quote) tags from a certain username, which is prohibitively expensive on our server end.

But in reality who it works for the most is the administration.
Now they don't have to deal with getting messaged about this anymore.

Couldn't you just insert the spoiler bbcode into the quote function?
I manually do that a good deal of the time just because having a big wall of text bugs me, but I really don't know how much extra coding that would add up to.
If it's not that much that would be something fairly awesome to have.
That and quote trains make my eyebrow twitch.

Now that this has been addressed...
Fix why I can't upload any animated avatar without it getting glitchy and/or anything above 200KB won't upload without going to a blank page ;_;

I had to take out frames myself to make my avatar not glitchy, I think when it reaches a certain size it glitches the hell out >.>

It has to do with what uploading tool that's used, not really much you can do about it from what I remember.
I'm about positive it has to do with when you resize the gifs..for some reason it doesn't like the encoding maybe?

Are you making the image 100x100? If it re-sizes sometimes it goes screwy.
...or black list, whatever.
You should notice a "block" link on every forum post. Clicking it will completely hide posts made by that user or character.
I made a simple block list manager that lists the people you block and the ability to unblock them. It will appear on the members menu as "Block List". I plan on making this page more powerful but it should be sufficient for now. Edit: You can now add characters or usernames from the block list page.
