It'll be funny seeing two people arguing, but you have one person blocked. Then all you see is a psycho babbling to him/herself.

Correct. This was talked about, and the lack of such a feature is intentional.

Similar to FF11, once you blacklist someone they are blacklisted. If you're on the fence about wanting to only "kind of" block them, you should probably reconsider how badly you want to in the first place.

doesn't matter who blocks me or not.

It is how I will use this that concerns me, not who else uses it.
