how do i change my internet settings to allow an update for java? through firefox i went to file > options > content and it says javascript is enabled but i still cant update java. is this the same thing?
cant go to the Java website and DL/Install the latest Java pack?
i can download it, but when i go to run it after its saved it says i cannot run it due to current internet settings

So i got the java update done but of course my comp is still pissing me off.
I go to can you run it, select guid wars 2 accept there app thing and it starts, the bottom bar says gathering information, and like 5 seconds later it takes me back to the main page of the website where you select the game you want to test AGAIN.

but i would like to know for sure. This crap always happens to me. I just want the something to work.
All the troubleshooting for the site says download the latest java which is done.
Make me download Aion, then this comes out and everyone plays this now. I SEE HOW IT IS(you know who you are!)

After much frustration i got can you run it to work.
My pc fails for guild wars 2, but it also fails for ffxi but i play it.
the difference is the reason it failed for ffxi was graphic, which i was able to patch.
For guild wars 2, it says my cpu fails.
And there is no way to fix your cpu to run a game on a laptop correct?
