This is like saying i really like bacon sandwiches but dont like bread, they come as a package the bread and the bacon, like black mage and soloing. Black mage make very respectable exp solo anyone who invites you into a toau melee based party is usually either new, feels sorry for you or is a friend.

Infact blackmage is probably only job capable of soloing emperor band in 25mins and empress in roughly 10 why would you want to ruin the leveling of the one job capable of soloing it all.

Soloing BLM is the best thing you can do. Solo RNG rats in Aydeem, and you are golden. You can get chain 3-4s from them at capped exp if you have good enough gear and cookies for hMP.

Just don't link them lol.

oh, and Thunder, this may be Fairy part of the forum, but its a game-wide problem, so STFU before you make more of an *** out of yourself, which would be hard since you already did so much damage to yourself anyway.

As to the Orginal poster, do what you want to do, Solo if you want, make your own partys or even LFP. (Craft or fish well you Lfp imo it helps)

From my experiences with BLM, soloing was actually better than Exp. parties, specially in Pso'Xja. Of course you can always try to get into Exp. parties or trying to form a manaburn party. Most of the time tho, soloing is usually the best option

and @TB:I remember when you were bragging about tanking on BLM when I was working on my RDM. Think you should do all of Fairy a favor by transferring to another server. That's just my personal opinion

As previously stated, you shouldn't be posting on these server forums. Hopefully my request will be acknowledged and in order to post on any server forum you must have a character registered on that server to prevent people like you from trolling other servers because your forum is too boring. This mentality is nothing new, no one liked it when anyone posted on another server board on KI either, and goes for many other MMORPGs as well......server specific forums are for people of that server, else use the general forums.

Go work on your assaults which you're lacking, instead of trolling.

It's interesting how people from other servers have given constructive advice to the OP where as a certain someone has yet to give any, and has only succeded in creating drama...

Thunderblaze, please, for the sake of the world, make sure you extract yourself from the gene pool or eliminate your ability to reproduce before you bless the world with an offspring.

Anyways, onto the topic at hand, at your level you can almost start the Mount Z long haul. I'd solo or duo/trio another two levels. After that you can manaburn the Mount Z crabs -> Eruca -> Campa -> Campa/Wamoura -> Puddings or Dahaks.

It's fun, also you can get into a Spinner PT camp or even a more conventional Mamool Ja SP camp since it seems to be easier to get a PT that can make light/dark skillchains now (everyone's trying to get mythic WSs it seems!) that you can MB off of like old times. Just get used to making PTs or getting friends to merit with.

As some1 who might want to take BLM from 41 to cap this is all good advice.

On the note about ppl posting on their own server forums I think that's crap. We all play the same game and in general all the servers face the same problems including this one. Limiting a problem to the opinions of only a few thousand ppl versus the 400K or so who play FFXI is self-defeating.

Actually I'm glad there's a bunch of other server ppl posting on this thread. Maybe Thunderblaze will make friends with one of them finally and get off Fairy.

Thunder's problem is that he is that kid that loves to annoy people for the sake of annoying them. Try as you might, he won't go away. Try to ignore him, and he just does it more.

Burn when you can, but solo if you must, thats my advice.

I'm leveling blm now, solo from 1-13 on Vomp hill, then pt'd in dunes till 18. From there moved to Qufim, and level sync'd till 53, using FoV in Qufim is a nice boost to your exp as well.
As far as Blm being useless and a waste, kinda sounds like Thunderblaze in reflecting his opinion of himself to this job. Try helping instead of being a douche bag.
