For real vampires, play Old World of Darkness: Vampire the masquerade. We kicked a kid out once (more so by taunting him and verbally bashing him) because he had brought a twilight book. Those are real vampires, at least when I play them. My Nosferatu controlled the entire sewer system, guarding it with more explosives than you could shake a stick at, 100 demon rats, 2 demon alligators and a capped (best you can get without being an elder vampire (which you arnt allowed in our LARP) computer system/security system. Our actual living space was decorated with dead bodies we had collected, and I had a fungus room.

One time we needed blood of an innocent for a ritual. So we organized a blood drive at the church (my gf's char had church influence). We then got the names of all the donors and used facebook to decide who seemed the most innocent. Then we broke into the blood storage facility and... We had no idea what the girl that we chose was labeled as, all we had were numbers to choose from. So, we took like 80 bags, only to find out it was wrong. So we tracked down her house, went to her room (nosferatu have an ability obfuscate that allows them to be effectively invisible, or change appearance) and saw she was watching pirates of the Caribbean and she had posters of Jack Sparrow all over her room. I changed myself to look like Jack Sparrow, got her to her window and forced her to sleep with another vamp power. Then we tied her up, kidnapped her, and drained her blood with a heroine addicts needle (we couldn't just eat it out, we needed to save it for the ritual). She died a horrible painful death from balloons veins and such, but we didn't give a ***, we were vampires!

Tl;dr Real vampires come from world of darkness: vampires the masquerade. My char in my LARP was about as evil as they got, and could have taken the entire world of twilight with just himself and his ghouls (the demon animals). I killed the most innocent girl I could find by using a heroine addicts needle, which killed her slowly and painfully.

i remember watching that for the first time and turning it off when he walked into the sun...i finished watching it a month later...ive only saw the other two movies so i have something to back me up when im making fun of it

Twilight...is made of epic fail. It's a joke to those of us who have always been interested in vampires. Now, as for vampires "not doing love"...mmm. not entirely true. You can still be a badass, awesome, ruthless vampire and still do the sex/love thing. I'll always be a fan of Anne Rice, and Laurell K. Hamilton. Their books show vampires for what they truly are. Lethal, ruthless, and manipulative. I also enjoy True Blood. I read the books before I watched the show. Books are better imo. The show plays it up to fit in better with the popular image of vampires. Makes me a bit sad, but there it is.

For those of us who grew up playing Vampire the Masquerade...or still play, and reading Anne Rice and such...this new Twilight *** has got to go. >.< it's not even just about it being lame, it's about the books being poorly written. See Spot Run has more literary talent and more depth to the character than Twilight does.

I don't really see a problem with that. Hellsing had a couple vampires in it too, and Hellsing is pretty badass so....

The twihards are gonna be all over youtube whining about this film, especially that fat girl who did the '*** off Stephen King' video.

so two girls at work were talking about twilight and i asked why they have glitter on them...they went into this long speech about how it was diamonds or some ***and they have tough skin...i nearly died laughing ..so when they walk into the sun could u imagine the director screamings "Glitter! glitter! wheres my glitter!" (queerly)

In LARP, it cost 1 blood (kinda like mana) to do the dirty deed.

Is that the scary movie writers or someone else doing Vampires Suck? Same style. They hit at almost every point of a film and rip it to shreds.

Also, too lazy to quote, but Hellsing wasn't abou the eternal struggle between werewolves and vampires, Underworld really started that ***and the writer should be blown up.

I like how Underworld was at the theaters cause everyone was like "wtf is this ***, lemme go check it out" and then after everyone saw it the 2 sequels went straight-to-dvd because no one would come back to see them.

I think the live-action movie had one in it maybe at some point? I really can't recall. It wasn't part of the main story if anything. He killed legendary creatures iirc, vampires were just his main thing.

It's one of the many parody movies that comes out after a series of highly popular movies comes out. It's real, and as horrible as it looks, I too would pay $10 to see it just for what it stands for.

This is the main reason I hate Twilight, it turned a scary as hell vile blood sucking monster into a Pop-Culture Teenie, emo heart throb that sparkles in the daylight and arn't violent.

I mean whats next? a Tween Drama about how emo zombies want to fit in and only eat veggies that look like brains?
