I believe they stated before that "rivals" does not necessarily mean enemies, but could mean friends that they compete with or some ***

I mean Ash and Gary were rivals but they didn't want to murder each other

I was actually doing pretty well, it was just me against the card guy most of the match, I would pop silence on him and run back until he was whittled down enough that he went back to base, then I hit his tower a bit. I got the tower by myself and I guess that set off an alert on the other team because then Ryze and Yi came and put magic and swords up my butt. Then someone had to go so my team decided to surrender.

Yeah people can get real angry when you try and bully their mid tower around. :(

Pre-mature surrenders make me angry. I have a rule to never even think about surrendering until they have 2/3 of my inhibs.

I've had a surrender vote on my team in progress @2/5 for, & before the vote was finished, the other team surrendered.

Haven't played against it yet. Looking forward to it.

So, I wanted to buy Goth Annie forever, but you could only get it from the Collector's Pack, and *** that. They recently made it to where the cost of the pack pro-rates based on how many champs you own from it... and that didn't sink in until recently. I looked, and I own every Champ but Janna. Gonna buy Janna with IP and get the skin for like 500 RP. Score.

didnt even notice this bundle, goth annie GET!

What's the goal of Proxy and how does one do it effectively?

Don't proxy anymore unless you're really ahead on Singed and can do it without dying lol. But you stand behind their outer tower killing creeps that spawn before they get to lane so they have to cs under tower and lose cs, and if they try to duel you, you're singed and can wreck them and get away.

Super farming, usually comes with split pushing.

The point is to get behind the first turret as soon as possible without taking it down, but being able to 1) 1v1 the other laner (it is usually done top lane) if he tries to stop you, 2) either 1v2/3 or be able to escape from the mid laner or jungler coming up to kill/stop you.

It is something "usually" done by Singed, Tryndamere, GP etc, anything that can wave clear and has mobility can do it basically. It's a strategy that works very well against lower levels up to around lower Plat, where people start to know how to deal with split push in general and especially proxy farming.

If you are trying to learn to last hit (which was the first point of the "minion challenge", but it got lost for some reason) it's not gonna help you, but if you want to have an insane amount of farm, this is the way to go.

It will also push your lane greatly as there are no enemy minions to slow your own waves.

This allows you to reach the 1:1 minion ratio at around 6/8min in. From there, your number gets even bigger as time goes by and you can squeeze jungle in the equation (and then the 3 waves of minions when you are in their base).

Keep in mind proxying isn't only used during the laning phase but can be used when your team is trying to push a lane down effectively

You can have your ADC hitting the turret while someone else is killing the next minion wave before it reaches your minion wave, so that your minions won't die as fast and so that your minions will only attack the turret. This is one of the many examples of controlling the lanes momentum, which is an important thing to learn to do effectively

But essentially proxying is just another way to control the flow of the lane, by killing minions before they reach your minions. You're acting as a proxy of your minion wave

Other examples of momentum control would be building up a monster creep wave, freezing the lane, or resetting the lane

To my understanding, one of the reasons so-called proxy-farming was so effective is that the intuitive counter (dispatching both jungler and top lane players to remove the proxy farmer) doesn't work after a while.

Because the proxy-farmer is not participating in other battles (and thus not getting assists) the kill-value of the proxy-farmer, assuming they can be caught, diminishes. Before the previous patch, it would get to the point (as the game progresses) where the kill-value of the farmer would eventually be less than that of a single minion. :/

This leaves the other team with the strategic decision to either assign one player to stay to harass the proxy--at the possible expense of their tower (as there are no minions to intercept the opposing wave and the tower can then actually fall by attrition alone) and/or their own gold via CS--or to assign two players to deal with a single enemy, as a classic split-push situation. Further, although the proxy-farmer might end up with a terrible KDA value, they will have tons of gold in end-game which is a credible threat as well if they are simply ignored.

In the previous patch, Riot attempted to make the kill-decay-value not bottom out so severely, putting values back apparently to S2 numbers to make this a more risky strategy (but to not dissuade people from trying it altogether.) I noticed that Riot also, in this latest patch, changed the decay rate of tower defense to delay downing towers early in the game.

350 armor and Yi melts me. *** ***. Doesn't even *** need armor pen. Just melts a Sejuani that is armor-stacking.

Can't be slowed, moves super *** fast, has a +100 armor/MR buff/heal, a nearly-spammable untargetable (His Q is Fiora's R), backdoors and split pushes incredibly well, his E gives him enough AD that he doesn't need to build AD until late game, and his ult refreshes on kill/assist. *** that champ. There's a reason he didn't have a great gap-closer that got stronger with AD Riot.

Most of this was changed.

His ult doesn't refresh anymore, but it gives 18sec cooldown to the basic abilities passively.

His E gives very little AD, objectively speaking, however it gives true damage once activated and given a proper build, it goes rather high.

His Meditate now doesn't give MR/Armor but flat -% DT (and it's halved against turrets, so it's somewhat weaker, at least it has been feeling very weak when I used it).

His Q is the most broken of all since with a SOTD you basically kill anyone just by pressing Q.

So far the consensus is that they made him more viable when it comes to playing with him "seriously", that's about it. They might have overdid it a bit, but they merely made him viable. Fiora would give the same feel is they made her viable: these champions can actually kill stuff.

Any hard CC kills Yi instantly, Sejuani has like 2 of them that should be enough to hold him during half of his ult while people bash on him, he dies fast if CC'd.

So, doing some ranked today, I was first pick, decided I wanted to Adc. Vayne was last pick and picked Vayne to adc, so I gave it up and went mid as Varus running AD. Every teamfight, the enemy team would focus the Vayne over me, and during the last teamfight I managed to pull out my first ADC pentakill.

What do you guys do when you run out of champs you wanna buy? I've got like 50 left, but only interested in having 5~6 of them.
