i been using hotspot for hours today. Only problems ive had is when ive tried to overload my connection. FFXI + skype worked but i lost connection as soon as I tried to load the webcam.
I suggest turning off all programs that try to access the internet before running hotspot. But for now its a decent temporary fix.

I just finally dc'd after 4 hours without hotspot, could be a coincidence but I doubt it. Back to hotspot I go.
*Sigh* Well, I'm buggered either way, Hotspot isn't working and neither is the normal way, I did manage to get the WS off I wanted to do all day though, 1.9K Gekko, not bad at all.. Gah. I can sleep happy.
I tried without Hotspot and atm it's working just fine. My brother still cannot log into the game without Hotspot...
Oh well, guess I'll wait till tommorow see how long it lasts without Hotspot.

Connection Update: Logged in at 5am this morning and have been able to successfully play for 45 mins or so. /have zoned multiple times. My only hope is that has somehow been resolved. Although at around 8.30am is when the issues started the last 2 days...
07:21 up and zoned to do more trial... so far so good..

Edit V2: omglolroflwtfgg, decided to have a little chat with them on phone again, and i actually got a UK callcentre this time, they guy listened, and even looked at the talktalk members forum while on the phone to me, he knows there is deffinatly a problem on their end and is going to talk to his supervisorsabout the matter,
Helps so much when the CS agent can actually understand what you're saying, so he's going to call me back aroung 12pm-12:30pm GMT and let me know what's happening..
bad news is he says it's doubtful talktalk engineers will deal with the issue for one thing since the rest of the internet service works fine :/

Well everthing worked from 5am to 8.17am, completely R0'ed in the middle of fighting a cluster. Most likely I will log into being dead...
Way to go TalkTalk, allowing us to play at god awful hours and then completely screwing it up for us all. Better get it fixed asap or they'll lose my custom.

as of 8:30AM friday morning the game is STILL not working correctly. (i bet the talktalk admins play WOW)
wow i lasted 5mins on one of my characters but my battle kept freezing as my connection dipped to R0 then it sorta caught up to itself then dipped again luckily i was hittin an EP mob..20 secs after fight ,R0 again and now its R0 on every character as soon as game loads.....thank you talktalk i appreciate the 5 minutes of play you gave me, can i please have 10 mins tomorrow ^^

Logged on this morning without Hotspot and disconnected straight away as usual. Gonna try with Hotspot now.
