Edit. Also if this happened early this morning then it might not just be your provider. I got R0'ed 40 minutes into a besieged. Internet was up and running fine. Tried logging in a few times and got booted out from menu. 15 minutes later got on fine. I don't normally R0 during besieged with my provider either.

i know there was a downage with FFXI earlier today...
but this is the 2nd day we've had this problem! lol i think even SE cld have fixed this quicker!

I rang, got stuck in a que, got told to reset my router, transferred to another department telling me to shove a pencil in the reset button, then through to athird department wanting to know if my modem is working correctly. Each of which didn't seem to understand the concept of "I am not the only one wiht this problem. A dozen others aqcuired the same problem all over the UK with your internet service at the exact same time. Can you please check if theres a problem on your end"

My friend has had nothing but bad luck this week. Dead XBox, installation issues on new Xbox and then logs in to this talktalk farce. I've been waiting for him to log in at the Cloister of tides since Monday lol

Try and find a company that do them free for first time customers.
Get some quotes and then see who will make you incentive offers. I played Sky off against Virgin Media until I got a decent deal.
I'm on about day 28 of my time with TalkTalk having just moved house.
For some reason despite taking over Tiscali they've also screwed up our email so I had to register new accounts for that.
Now they also want to charge us for not cancelling our previous account despite on their records having had a phonecall asking to terminate our previous account.
What I don't understand is if I was this inept in my job I would get the sack.

you wont be charged disconnection within your first 30 days its called the consumer credit act..
however a £30 connection fee with another company is the least of your worries..
its 2 years of a GOOD internet service.

Went out for 5 hours tonight and tried logging in as soon as I got back on multiple occassions. Still insta-R0'ing as per usual.
I really can't see any form of light at the end of this dark, dark tunnel. Seems TalkTalk are intent on alienating more customers by not providing any form of service to get this fixed.
