I get timed out if i dont move for a period of time (i assume 20~30) and no i dont have auto dc on etc. Oh well.
And i think the guy that sorted deserves a medal. Rest can burn in hell. An issue like this for 5 days is incredibly unethical. Couldn't get away with ***like this elsewhere. That company didn't know what anyone else was doing. I worked for Vodafone and we never had a massive fault like this. When it was huge at least we honestly said "Your mast is totally *** and will take a few days to fix". None of this "IT'S YOUR ISSUE" bs.

Nvm >.> appears it had been reset, begs the question who did it....

That seems like your router is still on auto-timeout when idle, even with ffxi running i can still kick you off thinking you're not doing anything..
Used to happen to me a lot when i went out and left ffxi on to bazaar crap, until i turned it off.
EDIT: ok maybe not lol.. seems you found the issue.. maybe you should work for talktalk.. fix the issues faster that way

More confused about how it reset lol. I camp ToD's adamantly around the clock so odd it should set to 20

Well its been like 40 mins on this damn phone and hearing that dumb bish keep repeating herself about your content ID blah blah...
My account got suspended last night, turned out the card they tried to charge had expired in the last few weeks and I'd forgotten to update the info. Might be a similar problem you're having?
Well it appears that whatever fixed the Talk Talk issue also fixed my issue with Virgin Media. So, thanks for all the work with your rep guys.
I'm guessing that the preferred route for my Virgin Media connection involved quite a few Talk Talk machines. That's the only explanation I have for both issues being resolved at the same time... other than it being SE's issue.
As for the people with the content ID issue. It's common, just enter your payment details then reactivate your ID's.

So... has this been fixed now then?
seems to be, been playing since 5pm, abyssea party since i logged on until 11:50pm with nothing wrong, not even a slight hint of dc'n... so with any luck that's it dealt with... but i'm still changing ISP as that level of service from the CS agents was just too much
I guess I'll try without Hotpsot then and see how it goes.

Just got r0 20min ago in abyssea. Restarted my pc when internet wouldn't re-connect. Can use the net fine now but can't log into pol >.>
Been DCed about 4-5 times last night, caused me to lose my spot in an exp party before it had properly begun. Anyone else? (with talktalk btw)

EDIT: and not quite dc'd but my connection did R0 for a few seconds until i opened google on my laptop (FFXI played on PC)
and back to normal.
Working fine this morning 4am-5am before work. Took about 15 minutes to log on to POL at 10am and has been regularly going r0 for a couple of seconds since I was able to start playing
Edit: Seemed to be going ok for about 30 minutes then got booted with a POL-2059 error
Edit Edit: Trying to get back onto POL and slowly clocking up error codes, 0006, 0010 and 0260. Going to head off now elsewhere to try logging in through sky broadband

I'm on AOL (TalkTalk) and i have been having crazy slow PoL, and sometimes timeouts when trying to connect to lobby. And earlier today i couldn't even connect to anything SE not even their website for FFXI, Everything but PoL/FFXI was working. But seems to be working fine now.
