Ok gang, who has been using this? I am finding that on some mobs it seems to do better damage with seemingly less enmity then sidewinder, and other mobs the opposite effect. Any one have the details on this WS?

Going to play with it in dynamis tonight and see what it does. Havent been really impressed with it in xp, but we'll see.

Ive been using it in maze mongers a lot. Basically, at 300 TP it out performs sidewinder, but other then that dont bother. Ive been hoping for another good archery WS. i think rng is the only job that only has 1 WS, unsituationally. Always sidewinder. But this is not the new WS lol. I may save to 300TP and use it at khim or something so i dont spam winder at 100 and pull hate, but thats about as far as this WS goes for me

well it is a 2 hit ws, so it could be that TP gives accuracy bonus for the 2nd hit. Didnt get to test it too much tonight, we went through mobs so fast it was unreal. I'll play with it in campaign tomorrow.

I've used it quite a bit, here's the thing, at 100% TP is no different then Emp arrow or arching arrow. For me it was dealing 900-1100 dmg to trolls in mt. z while sw was dealing 1500's. Where things change is the TP mod, at 300% tp, Refulgent dealt 1800+ on trolls... That's right, finally a ws that can out dmg sw! But waiting for 300% tp really isn't going to happen on a rng, and obviously 3 sw = 4500 dmg while 1 refu = 1800. Where I really see this ws coming into play is at 80/sam. I've found it has the same SC properties as sw, making a 300% sekkenoki Refu > SW > Barrage > SW probably one of the most lethal combinations in the game. Don't hesitate to try out this ws, you won't be disappointed.

The last major benefit of it, acc. I missed probably 2 ws's out of 100. It's very accurate and would be a wise choice for high eva mobs.

Sekkanoki makes your WS count as being used with 100% tp.
If only it didnt! Mythic weapons would be too good now..

Played with it at Tinnin tonight, was only doing about 100 dmg less then SW @ 100 TP but was a hell of alot more accurate.


Also, i am starting to lean towards Double shot being closer to a 40% proc rate. using it tonight, some instances it was procing almost every shot, and others 1 shot out of 5. Will try to test more tomorrow in a campaign battle or something.

The point is for the ACC of refu at 100% vs the acc of SW at 100%. If you miss the first ws in a SC what's the point? Refu at Sekk 300%, SW at 200%, barrage, SW.

Also it seems to be heavily STR modded. 60% according to wiki. Considering it'll be more accurate than sidewinder, this would be great to use on highly evasive mobs if you don't save up extra TP. Also you can stack on the mods more without worrying about keeping a balance of r.acc.
