Do you have a screen shot of some sort, or perhaps maybe have an idea of what caused it to drop the key item?

Ah, I need to find a group that does NM's, it's impossible to get anybody to use stones on them =(

Looks like the current tests point to 16 hours per stone with the abyssite.

Personally I think SE finally got it right for once. Abyssea is friggin addicting the only thing that makes it not worth while is when you end up in a group of idiots who do nothing but *** about every lil thing not going their way.
What else can you do that gets you 100k+ in exp every 2 or so hours? I've gotten as much as 700k+ in exp in 1 run slamming merits going back and repeating. Lemme tell ya guys getting to lev 99 this way will be cake.
For those still doubting....there's a reason the wait lists get to be 15 ppl plus, it's that damn good.
We killed Balkan on Wednesday and there was no tonberries there. We came back yesterday and there was tonberries now. For a minute I toughed I missed then on Wednesday but we killed bakka on that same spot the tonberries roam.

We try today to get the key item. Killed ~40 Tonberrys and no Drop.
Get everyone in pt or alliance the key item? And how many tonberrys u killed till u get the key item @krizz

As far as the key item goes, some people have gone 1/2 while others have gone 0/30 and quit.
I was around there this time yesterday.

Any sign of tonberry's on shiva yet?
I posted this in a comment on a screenshot, but it took three of us just over an hour (and the third person joined midway through) to all get our celerity. In that time we capped azure light, got ~10k exp and I'd guess around 2k cruor (got at least one cruor chest for 1k). Unless it's a big coincidence, I can also say that only the person that pulls the mob will get the key item.
