Chocobo Help

So im on day 60ish, and im trying to get the key item for gallop, im bastokan, so i need regular walks to kon. highlands . . . ive done nothing but them since they were available, and with also using chocolixers to get in extra walks, and i have not seen hantileon once! thats gotta be 70+ walks now w/o visit, any ideas whats wrong?, no i do not already have the key item ^^;

The walks can be pretty random at times. I've heard people had troubles like this when trying to get their whistle so I would imagine the same would be true when trying to learn stories. Just keep trying. =(
