How exactly do you report a relic owner? I wanted to get Dragonkatana's name added for his Guttler ^^ Our server has one of the lower relic counts, just wanted to raise it when I can ^^;

I think it's more like a lot of the relics are owned by JPs who aren't too keen on advertising that they have relics. I mean, I know of two Mandaus and one Excalibur that's not on the relics list, but afaik none of them want their names up on the list...

Without going into specifics as to who, a number of Top Achievement Score JP players have recently pulled their profile info and dropped out of the rankings, specifically because they were getting harassed by jealous EN users. I'm sure there's an equal number of JP players who would be high-ranked should they want to register to begin with, but there seems to be very different cultural attitudes between EN and JP users in regards to the relative value of fame vs. anonymity.

I know a quite a few JPs that should be "higher-ranked" than me, so I see some truth behind Jae's comments. (I mean, several members in my Dynamis shell have way more lv75 jobs than I do...)

I think a lot of JP players that seek fame (or infamy, as you would have it) are already well-known even amongst EN users; the others, well, they come from a "if you don't fit into the cookie-cutter mold, you will get harassed" culture (hell, JPs have been complaining anonymously about high-standing players for years already) so even if they have uber-gear and stuff they're more likely to keep mum about it.

Me? I've been harassed enough times on said anonymous boards over the years (mostly for crap I've never done, as those boards tend to be full of BS as well) that I really don't feel like I need to hide if I've done nothing wrong.

Most my JP friends that have bragging rights so to speak, don't like to make themselves well known. I have one who's a 100 goldsmith, all subs capped etc who crafts inside his mog house 99% of the time. When he crafted stuff for me he refuses to sign it.

Look at NA's -- we have people with completely crap gear strut around in their Maat's cap full time. Heck, most of them full time it on their jobs in every situation.

Ask a question to yourself (everyone, not pointing fingers): Do you have "town gear", gear you show up to a new party in hoping to be examined or even a specific macro you use to show off at HNM camps? Lots of NA's do.
