I'm in the military also and don't move as much, but my reason to join was to get away from WI and see things I couldn't growing up. IL made it worse for me since I was only a drive away from home so long weekends were spent back home. Korea opened my eyes to why I should be more selfish with my leave. Now I'm married so it's hard now to go somewhere else since the wife is from WI too. If I really cared about catching up with people from high school then I'll send a message on FB to those people.
