I bet I could find some good sweaters for you. Sweaters are very flattering for a lot of different body types, The right sweater can make you look 10lbs less. Check out Jcrew or banana republic. They'd have something good for you.
edit: just stay away from stripes. They are too dangerous for anyone. SOlids and argyle are your friends.
