For each server, it lists total transactions, characters and active.

What exactly is the active listing? Is it the number of individual buyer and sellers in a specific time frame? And if so, what is that time frame? Last 2 weeks? Last 3 months?

If that is not the case, is there a site anyone knows of that shows server population numbers? Is there any resource that attempts to track the JP/NA ratio, for example?

I will finally be eligible for transfer off this miserable server in the next 3 weeks and have my destination narrowed down to a couple servers, but trying to gather as much information as possible before making the final determination.
