Hmm, I can't think of something more insulting than being a republican. I'd rather be labeled as an incestuous, sadistic, cannibalistic, child rapist than as a republican. All though, just about every rapist and pedophile I've ever seen prosecuted was a republican, so I suppose the two go hand-in-hand.
Regardless, I think the birthday thing is a cute idea. This is the only community site that doesn't have it but it's also the community site I think that it pertains to the most. It's just a awkward, that's all. If people don't like the idea then, oh well, maybe it's not that great. I really thought people would be more receptive.
