That's like telling a Ranger to shoot Iron Arrows then switch to Scorpion/Demon for Sidewinder.

It's fine to TP and WS in Iron Bullets from 50-61.

For any COR 61+ Corsair Bullet should be used for weapon skills, especially since they're common enough as a Campaign Drop these days.

at 66 when you get steel you should WS with steel and only use corsairs for barraging /rng to make sure you get full TP return

For those like me who tp while shooting don't tp in these use normal bullets and macro these in for WS.
