400k/ring, avg of 6 rings per HQ means the crafter will invest about 2.4 million into making an hq ring just in rhodium. Add in the cost of ~2 stacks of -ites to get your 6 tears.

I went 1/15 making my Ifrits +1. I did the math. It would have been cheaper to buy. But my luck is exceptionally terrible with ifrits rings so don't base your expectations on that.

no clue why Psylo's comments received negative ratings...its exactly whats happening right now. Yet still people complain about how expensive the the +1 rings are. We lose alot of gil on NQ rings...
