the khimaira jambiya synths into adder jambiya, which has an add effect of impair evasion. I haven't used one myself, but I understand it has a high proc rate.

Just got two of these from a giant item chest that appeared in Abyssea Tahrongi.

Abyssea has slaughtered the prices of a lot of nice items, this is both a good and bad thing.

These drop now from the golden coffers that monsters drop in all Abyssea Zones.
