Breaks my heart that this lance has dipped so low. Although I am glad for the newer/much better lances...I remember a time when this was the best by far and the blood. sweat, and tears that were shed in obtaining it. I may just buy one again for the memories...
Not nearly as good as the Mezraq or Thallassocrat (or however it is spelled).
But it is still an ideal weapon for people who can't afford them. The +4 STR does wonders for Wheeling thrust as well as the attack down which kicks in quite often. Preferably though you would best be off with a weapon that have 90 or more damage to it.
Please note that 4 STR on this will raise the Weapon Damage via fSTR to 88 generally all the time, and add 3 atk. Thats pretty much it for melee swings. As for WS, WT has a 50% STR mod(further reduced by the .83 modifier WS damage has at 74+) so at that level for WT, its "wonders" is simply 2 more WD at most, making it an effective 90 WD on WT at 74+.
It's good for its level, Neza of course being better, but by 75, you should have a new lance, if only Tounament lance(91 BD) or O.Lance(92).
I don't understand why I see so many DRGs using this lance at 75. It hurts my heart ;-; It is good at its level but even the Ice Lance +1 is better at 75. Even if you can't afford a Thalassocrat or Mezraq, the Orichalcum Lance, Imperial Neza, and Tournament Lance are excellent alternatives.
