A greatly underestimated item here, When compared to my GKL this weapon more then stacks up, once you take care of the acc diffrence in other gears, youll find the str, and particularly the vit really helps out your DRG alot. I would strongly recomend this to the up and coming DRG
@higeki; At least on my server, the Schwarz lance is more expensive than the GKL. If you're going to go for any lance at 60, I'd say its between this and the mezraq, as the evasion down will help the whole group and actually result in more +acc (I think the effect is -10 evasion). While the DPS of this lance is indeed signifigantly lower, you have to take into account the multi hit nature of DRG. First off, you have Jumps, secondly penta is a 5 hit attack, so the base damage of the weapon really effects the damage output more than it would for other classes. If you're hurting for ACC, go with the Mazraq, otherwise this is worth considering for the higher TP gain, STR, and base damage.
This is the slowest non-RA/EX weapon in the game. It also has pretty high damage for its level.
However, Dark Mezraq or Grand Knight's Lance would be better suited for up and coming DRG's due to the fact that Penta Thrust is a multi-hit weaponskill, and accuracy is really important. If you feel like you have more than enough accuracy, by all means get this instead.
Wearing only +2 Store TP with a GKL/Dark Mezraq, I get a 19% TP return from Penta Thrust. With the added melee hits, I usually end up with 97-98% TP after 5 hits.
I haven't tested but suspect if I made the jump to a Schwarz instead, I'd have an honest to goodness 5-hit build after a Penta Thrust. As others have said, your DoT will suffer with this weapon. But it WILL make up for it in spike damage with weapon skills.
