Still want this sword just because it pissed me off so much back in the day... personal trophy item I guess but it still looks fantastic even if other weapons are better now.

If you get this sword, please realise it's an incredibly situational piece and don't just use it in every situation ever like just about every other Hauteclaire owner I see.

If you have the patience/time to put into getting it, it's a good backup weapon if you have no luck with magian trials (Which you shouldn't.) The -7% PDT is nice, the Divine Magic +8 is helpful, but overall this is now a very fancy transitional piece. It's worth getting for those who have some sentimental attachment or wish to flash off something fancy, but at level 99 there are superior alternatives.

However this is still a glamorous sword, excalibur's 3D model reskinned gold with an ivory grip, very noble for role players as well.
