Especially for a rapier weapon, the DoT on this weapon is incredible. This is the solo RDM/NIN's best friend. Used in combination, you'll see a healthy +12 accuracy and +10 parrying. The biggest downfall is the lack of +attack the other 55 nation swords provide. As MCF is not available to RDM, try looking at a Wise Wizard's Anelace as your other sword for a huge attack boost if you're comfortable with accuracy.
