Claudeus' comment, while correct, is not entirely accurate. ZNM Cerbus, named Sarameya, is very difficult to reach due to the time it takes to climb up the tiers just to pop it.
It _is_ nice that there is now an alternative method to getting a hide other than Cerberus and the very-rare Ashu Talif chest drop, but it will not flood the market with multiple hides like the Moogle Marble lottery did with Behemoth Hides.
This mantle will drop in price due to the fact that the ZNM version of Cerberus drops this hide. Instead of 1 hide every few days the influx of hide has been multiplied many times.
Claudeus of Garuda made very good prediction about the price of this mantle. Although the price did not crash, it steadily falling and the item is ALWAYS stock in the AH. At this rate the price would hover just above 500K by the second semester of next year. I don't expect the price to fall below that margin though. This comment will infuriate angry crafters though... lol
Sometimes it's just better to desynth the nq mantle, with the right setup.Pretty frequently get the hide back. Sucks to see a lost mantle, but the price is butchered by half price anyways.
Are you on CRACK?! Someone even attempting to look like they are trying to hold hate should melee in this bad boy. Melee damage is one of the best ways to accumulate enmity, and an Enmity boost of +3% far outweighs 3 ATT. Learn to do math bro.
Sorry to say, but price isn't going to drop anytime soon. Even with ZNM, you're still looking at an average of 3 Hides/week "flooding" the market... if that.
And at -600k per NQ, the crafters aren't going to let them go so easily.
Still one of the most useful back pieces ingame, well worth the gil.
