First Damselfly inbetween Snippers and Leeches is placeholder, respawn on placeholders is almost exactly 5 minutes.

NM pops as last in the group, just above the leeches. Stand somewhere your widescan gets everywhere.

Bring Powder Boots if you don't have Flee, and hold damselflies occasionally to ensure you're tracking the top one (it will ALWAYS be the same one)!

Finally, try to space out deaths if you can so you don't confuse the ordinary damselflies with the PH. Happy hunting!

Two places you can get this.

1. The rare-ex version comes from the NM Valkurm Emperor.

2. The rare only version comes from the BCNM Dropping like Flies.

amazing tanking head gear especially for this low of a level. the agi+3 and eva+10 at lv24 is just insane

XIJOEIX, you helped me get my first 18 years ago. You said at the time you knew a way to 100% the drop by the way you killed it, but you didn't tell me and I wasn't near the mob when it died.

1/10, only had TH on 4. Dropped last night with TH6 on my THF, Waiting on CD for Feint(5/5 Merits) 3 times with back to VE just to make sure I got optimal TH.

I camped this NM 5 different times with the help of my friends level 75 rng, I was level 50 thf. Shadowbind from ranger was awesome in getting claim on NM. He would find VE and claim it while I ran to him ^.^ still a pain to camp always 2 or 3 people camping it on my server.
